It’s a tie between my iPad and my Nikon. Both accompany me most places these days so choosing between them is like choosing a favorite child. Okay fine it’s probably the iPad. 

To continue with London throwbacks, Libby and Jennie joined my mother and I for tea on Friday afternoon. We went to a place in downtown called Volta and had a lovely time chatting and enjoying one of our favorite British traditions.  After tea, I continued my British hipster ways and went to the Gifthorse to get a new pair of Toms. To my delights, Gifthorse has added a phenomenal vintage section, and I got a pair of black jorts and a jean skort. Yes, a jean skort. It is super high wasted and embarrassing and I cannot WAIT to rock it. In daily life.

Saki Saki Saki LONDON

Last night we had a London reunion at Tatu, a Sushi Bar and Grill in Gainesville. It was nice to get together and realize that we are all mostly depressed to be back in Gainesville. It is quite a harsh wake up call to go from living in a real city rich in culture and exciting things to explore only to be forced to return to the US, specifically Gainesville, Florida. 

I have already begun the process of convincing my mother to let me return during Christmas break. I do, in fact, have over a month of holiday from university. What else will I do? Hopefully visit Andrew in LA, Seabury in NYC or somehow both. 

I’m off to prepare for the first gameday tomorrow! Wow that’s oddly depressing.
